Privacy
What stays in your browser
Your recent location searches and saved favorites are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Third-party services
Because the map runs in your browser, your requests for map data go directly to the public providers listed on the Data sources page (U.S. Census/Esri, municipal open-data portals, FEMA, USFS, OpenStreetMap/Overpass, and the Esri geocoder). Those providers receive standard request information such as your IP address and the area you are viewing, under their own privacy policies.
What we don't do
There is no account login and no server-side profile of you. Share links you create encode only map settings (location, filters, layers) in the URL — never personal information. If analytics or lead-capture features are added in the future, this page and the Terms will be updated first.
